What do these six famous children’s book authors have in common?November birthdays better

They were all born on November 29th or November 30th!

From left to right: Louisa May Alcott, author of Little Women and other classics was born on November 29, 1832. C. S. Lewis, most famous for The Chronicles of Narnia books was born on November 29, 1898. Madeleine L’Engle, born on November 29, 1918, brought us the award-winning A Wrinkle in Time series.

Jonathan Swift, born November 30, 1667, wrote Gulliver’s Travels, among other works. Mark Twain, November 30, 1835, penned many stories, including, of course, Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn. And last, but not least, Lucy Maud Montgomery, born on November 30, 1874, brought us the beloved Anne of Green Gables series. What a lineup! I wonder if the young teen whose birthday party I am attending today, will grow up to be a famous author, too.

    What a neat coincidence! Or is it…? 😉 Also, I love that it’s snowing on your blog! How did you get it to do that if you don’t mind me asking?

      Hi Leandra, thanks for letting me know it’s snowing! I hadn’t realized. I selected it last year and it must be automatic now. On WordPress, under settings (general) there is an option to have it snow until Jan. 4th.

        Lol, that’s awesome! Then it truly is like real snow, where you wake up and look out the window and get a surprise! And I wonder if Blogger has such an option, I’ll have to look into it.
