About Marcia

Never away too long from the ocean, forests, and mountains of New England, Marcia loves writing books for children of all ages. Her first middle grade novel, chosen as a Bank Street College of Education’s Best Children’s Books, inspired her to write more novels and picture books and now she can’t stop! Marcia recently retired from a public library where she enjoyed acquiring all their new children’s books. Before that, after completing her BSFA at Northeastern, she worked in textbook publishing as an art editor. Marcia and her husband are the proud parents of two wonderful kids—an actuary and a professor. She enjoys papercrafts, playing her guitar, travel, and most of all, family time!
