More Roller Boy Launch Events

To round off the Roller Boy book release, there were three signing events back to back. The first was the previously mentioned big launch party, shown here. Plus I belatedly got this picture to add in (not every day you get to see your name in lights! 🙂 ). 
The following Saturday, I participated in the 4th Annual Children’s Book Festival which was combined with Strawbery Banke’s annual Fall Festival held in historic Portsmouth, NH. I had a great time at this interesting location.

OK, now that Roller Boy is out in the world and doing well, maybe I can get caught up reading other blogs and working on future books. Speaking of books, here are a few quotes for those of you between projects or perhaps thinking of dipping into writing.

I am so happy all of your book releases have gone so well. I enjoyed reading Roller Boy very much. I just ordered five more books from Barnes and Noble for Christmas gifts! Roller Boy has a wonderful message of hope, endurance and believing in your own self worth,. A great tool for young people of today who are struggling with bullying, racism, feeling isolated and low self esteem. You can’t help but root for Mateo through the whole book! A wonderful read!
